Best answer
the curve an ellipse, the important points are the intercepts

to calculate the x-intercepts substitute y with 0

$x=2$ or $x=-2$ (2;0) and (-2;0)

to calculate the y-intercepts substitute x with 0

$Y= 4$ or $y=-4$ (0;4) and (0;-4)

major axis will 8 units long along the y-and minor axis will be unit long along the x-axis
