substituting 1 into 2

2x^2 = 2-(2x -2)^2

 3x^2 -4x +1=0

 (3x-1)(x-1)=0

      x= 1/3 or 1

then y= 2(1/3) -2= -1 1/3 or -1.33

        or y= 2(1) -2= 0
