Vi = 0 m/s     Vf = 39.2 m/s     a/g = 9.8 m/s        t = ?

Vf = Vi + gt

t = (Vf - Vi) / g

    = (39.2 - 0) / 9.8

    = 4 secs

b) From what height was it dropped?

d = Vit + 1/2gt²

    = 0 + 1/2(9.8)(4)

    = 78.4m
