Best answer

To calculate the number of minutes in a year, multiply the time value by 525600. i.e. there are 525600 minutes in a year.

Remember that there are

  • 60 minutes in a hour
  • 24 hours in a day
  • 365 days in a year

So \(60 \times 24 \times 365 = 525600 \)
