Best answer
The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) is now embracing nudging as a strategy to help meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and protect the global environment, with support from the Behavioural Insights Team.

They can see that when they nudge people away from overconsumption and waste, and towards energy efficiency and lower-impact lifestyles, they are playing a part in fighting climate change as well as preserving the natural world in which we live and on which we rely.
