We at MathsGee believe that everyone knows something and is willing to share their knowledge and help someone else. Someone, somewhere has the solution you are looking for thus it is important to ask. Asking helps the asker and the responder connect and exchange value that others not in the transaction can benefit from. That is why we founded MathsGee (https://mathsgee.com )
MathsGee is a platform where learners join to connect, learn and earn. We believe that everyone deserves quality education thus we provide Just-In-Time study support to learners whose schools don't have infrastructure for remote learning. Learners can share their knowledge, monetize their knowledge and network with fellow learners.
We realized that currently Africa doesn't have enough:
1. Localized platforms to support remote learning.
2. People creating online learning content (knowledge sharing).
3. Capacity to train youth how to monetize their knowledge in the online gig economy.
Currently solutions like Chegg, Brainly and Byjus are what learners use for study support but they are international products that have not been localized enough thus do not meet the needs of the local users in the African context. We are also focusing on knowledge sharing and monetization of knowledge which serves as a springboard into the 4IR-induced gig economy.
