A,B,C, and D, in that order, lie on a line. If AB = 3 cm, AC = 4 cm, and BD = 6 cm, what is CD

A                        B                            C                                D

            3 cm              ?=1 cm                        ? = 5 cm

AB = AC - AB = 4 - 3 = 1 cm

CD = BD - BC = 6 - 1 = 5 cm
