The Africa – Human Development Scenarios 2035 video was produced by young African leaders (listed below) as part of the Tutu Fellowship programme. The scenario planning involved crafting two distinctly different Global Frameworks (Scenarios). Thereafter the group created two plausible, logically consistent, interesting, different and informative Scenarios of the future of Africa (2018 – 2035), within the framework of the two global frameworks. For their chosen African issue (human development) they expanded the scenarios in more detail to provide two different stories of how these critical issue could develop over the next 17 years within the framework of the two African scenarios they had developed. They finish off the video by proposing a Strategic Agenda that young leaders could deploy across the continent to stimulate positive change in human development, and which would be robust under both African scenarios you have developed.
