China Ramps Up South Africa Investment

In a bid to deepen socio-economic bilateral ties between South Africa and China, the China Inward Investment Seminar was held at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg on the 6th of August 2018.

The seminar, which started at 10:00 and ended at 14:00, highlighted 22 Chinese (Guangdong Province) companies from a variety of sectors such as electrical components, renewable energy, oil and gas, energy efficiency, water, real estate, infrastructure development, finance etc.

These companies would like to engage with similar type of companies in South Africa to forge working relations to execute projects, investments and technical cooperation. In light of these, eminent South African business people were  invited to be part of this event as South Africa  continues to grow its economic trade relations with China.
