  • Downloads: South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement – Download Saasta’s printed science and technology education resources – booklets, posters, cartoons, fact sheets, magazines and more – free of charge.
  • Everything Science – On the Siyavula website you will find the online, interactive textbooks for Grade 10-12 which have also been printed and are the exact books that are being used in class. When reading these books online they become interactive as they are filled with videos, simulations and assessment. All this content is curriculum-aligned and completely free.
  • Physical Sciences Break 1.0 – This blog covers physical sciences topics for grades 10,11 and 12 and is updated regularly. Physical Sciences Break 1.0 is created and maintained by Chipa Thomas Maimela from Limpopo who won the 2013 ISPA Super Teacher’s Special Award for it.
  • PheT Interactive Simulations – PhET provides fun, interactive, research-based simulations of physical phenomena for free. PheT helps students visually comprehend concepts, simulations animate what is invisible to the eye through the use of graphics and intuitive controls such as click-and-drag manipulation, sliders and radio buttons.
  • SciBraai – This blog feature stories about South African research, technology and innovation, and the people behind the discoveries. It welcomes all South Africans to go behind the scenes of local science and exploration endeavors.
