A Potentially high fees.

Mutual funds carry the advantage of professional management—however, it comes at a price. High fees may cut into a mutual fund investor's returns. Mutual fund investors don't risk their personal time and effort like entrepreneurs do. As ownership investments, mutual funds have a high potential for return. There is no penalty for early withdrawal from a mutual fund.
