The purpose of the objective function is to minimise cost.
The cost of hiring ns small trailers for 1 day is: 500 x ns
The cost of hiring nb big trailers for 1 day is: 800 x nb
Therefore the objective function, which is the total cost of hiring ns small trailers and nb big trailers for 1 day is:
500 x ns + 800 x nb
