solution:

1) Find x -intercept / zero:

x1 = -2

x2 = 2

2) Find y -intercept:

f(0) = 8

3) Find Domain:

x E R

4) Find the Derivative:

f ' (x) = -3x^2 -4x +4

5) Find the extrema:

a relative minimum is at x = -2

a relative maximum is at x = 2/3

6) Find the horizontal:

Since the limits are not finite, the function has no horizontal asymptotes

7) Find the slant asymptotes

has no slant asymptotes

8) determine if even, odd or neither

neither even nor odd
