1. What is the total time that the rock will be in the air?
2. How high will the rock go?
3. At what velocity will the rock return to where it started from?

1. Vi=35m/s A=9.8m/s^2

a=v/t

t=v/a

=35/9.8

=3.57 sec

2. v= d/t

d=vt

=35x3.57

=124.95 m

3. Vf=Vi +2at  Vi =0 at the top

Vf=0 +  9.8x3.57

= 34.99 m/s
