1. n = nr of trials = 25, p = probability of success, q = probability of failiure

    p = 60% = 0.6 probability   therefore q = 1 - 0.6 = 0.4

    Hits = n*p = 25 * 0.6 =  15 Successful throws

 

2.    s = Square root of npq

        = Sqr rt of ( 25 * 0.6 * 0.4)

        =Sqr rt (6)

        = 2.45
