a = { (1) + (1/4) + (1/16) + (1/32) }

a = 43/32

b = 1 + (1/4)a.... Substitute value of a

b = 1 + (1/4)x(43/32)

b = 171/128

The value of a - b

(43/32) - (171/128) = 1/128

Answer: 1/128
